I Don't Sell You A "One-Size-Fits-All" Package
Your Path to Wellness Should Fit YOUR Life
Functional wellness is not one-size-fits-all—and neither is the path we take together.
At By Design Functional Wellness, your recommendations are thoughtfully tailored to your health history, symptoms, goals, priorities and budget. Some clients may benefit from comprehensive functional lab testing, while others may begin with existing bloodwork, a single targeted test or foundational lifestyle support without testing at all.
Depending on your needs, your personalized pathway may include:
-
A comprehensive health history and symptom timeline
-
Review of existing medical records and laboratory results
-
Foundational support for nutrition, sleep, stress, movement and digestion
-
Targeted functional testing when it is likely to provide meaningful insight
-
Comprehensive functional lab testing for those who want a deeper investigation
-
Individual or group-based education and accountability
You do not have to complete every available test—or have an unlimited wellness budget—to begin taking meaningful steps toward better health. We will work together to identify the most appropriate place to start and build from there as your needs, goals and resources allow.
Not Sure Where to Begin?
Schedule a complimentary First Steps Call. We’ll talk about what you’re experiencing, what kind of support you’re looking for and which available pathway may be the best fit for you.
Frequently Asked Questions
Do I have to purchase functional labs to work with you?
No. Functional lab testing can provide valuable insight, but it is not required to begin working together. We may start by reviewing your health history, symptoms, lifestyle and any existing laboratory results you already have.
If additional testing would be helpful, we can discuss options ranging from one carefully selected test to a more comprehensive collection of functional labs. Every recommendation is tailored to your needs, goals, priorities and budget. Testing should always have a clear purpose and provide information that may meaningfully guide your wellness plan.
What happens during a First Steps Call?
The complimentary First Steps Call is a relaxed conversation where we’ll discuss what you are experiencing, what you hope to accomplish and the kind of support you are looking for. If I feel like what I offer is a good fit, l will then explain the available pathways and help you determine which option may be the best fit. There is no pressure or obligation to enroll.
Can we work within my budget?
Yes. There are several ways to work together, ranging from foundational wellness support and reviewing existing labs to targeted or comprehensive functional testing. During your First Steps Call, we can discuss your priorities and identify a starting point that respects both your health goals and your budget.
Does working with an FDNP replace my doctor?
No. Functional Diagnostic Nutrition Practitioners do not diagnose, treat or prescribe for medical conditions. My role is to help you investigate patterns, identify opportunities for support and build sustainable nutrition and lifestyle strategies. Functional wellness works best alongside appropriate medical care, and I may encourage you to consult your physician or another licensed healthcare provider when needed.
